#Taliban's Minister of Propagation of Virtue& Prevention of Vice, Minister of Justice, Minister of Foreign Affairs& Minister of Education, were also among those officials of the IEA who attended the Qisas event in Farah, where the family of a victim killed the murderer in public.
"The killer, Tajmir, son of Ghulam Sarwar, was a resident of Injil District of Herat, who on 12 Oct 2017, brutally stabbed& killed Mustafa son of Abdul Rahman, a resident of Farah's Pusht-e Koh District, and took away motorbike& a mobile phone of the victim with him," TB claimed.
Today's #Qisas in Farah City was the first "#Public_Execution" under the #Taliban 2.0 regime in #Afghanistan.
In recent few weeks, the Taliban started punishment of the convicts in public, including #floggings of women and men on charges of immorality in several provinces of AFG.
On 24 November, a horrific incident in #Daikundi Province resulted in the killing of 10 people, including 4 children& one #Taliban member. 7 others, including 2 TB, were wounded in the incident. 5 were arrested by the TB.
No official source confirmed the number of casualties yet.
There are contradictory information about the nature of Daikundi incident:
Anti-TB fronts: Taliban attacked a village and massacred Hazara civilians.
TB/Pro-TB sources: There was a civil lawsuit between 2 families& the IEA wanted to arrest some people, then the incident happened.
Third Party/other sources:
Taliban went to a village on the outskirts of Nilli City, to arrest some locals over a #land_conflict between them, but they resisted and a clash happened. Some #Hazara TB (e.g. General Sadaqat), involved in the local conflicts, #provoked the incident.
There are contradictory reports about the reason behind the conflict between Taliban& PAK border forces, in Dand-e Patan District of Paktia, on Durand Line.
Taliban officially didn't comment on the conflict yet.
Still, @khalidzadran01 tweeted a poem of the Emir of Durrani Empire.
The poem of king A. Shah is in Pashto, with below contents:
As God made me victorious against my rivals, I will go directly towards India for sightseeing (conquering).
When I conquer the India's territories, then I will go with flag and drum towards Iran (to conquer the country).
More about the conflict between IEA&PAK forces, in Dand-e Patan District of Paktia Province, on Durand Line: 1. Based on SM reports, one Talib was killed in today's clash (unconfirmed). 2. Paktia University students are donating blood for wounded patients.
Mullah Mohammad Essa Akhund, was introduced as new #Kabul_Governor today.
A Pashton from Kandahar (?), he was a battle field expert of the #TB in the south, and recently was serving as security chief for the Ministry of Defense.
Pro-TB accounts defined him as an anti-ISKP figure.
Following the announcement of Mullah Mohammad Essa (Yasin) Akhund, as the new Kabul Governor, many sources in social media, accused him of having background of spoiling governmental assets in Paktika Province, when he was serving as governor there in late 2021.
Paktika people...
... reportedly complained and stood against him, which resulted in his shifting to Kabul as commander of security& support brigade of the Ministry of Defense. #Taliban usually tolerate the wrongdoings of their powerful commanders and figures, mainly for keeping the group's unity.
#Taliban's supreme leader, issued a decree, in which he approved: 1. Regulations for Prevention of #Land_Grabbing& the Return of Seized Land (PLG&RSL). 2. Establishment of a commission for the PLG&RSL. 3. A commission Bill. 4. Establishment of a specialized court for the PLG&RSL.
TB's supreme leader ratified the regulations of PLG&RSL in 4 chapters and 21 articles.
He also approved the Bill for the Commission of PLG&RSL in 9 articles.
The commission's members are as follow: 1. Minister of Justice (Head of Commission) 2. Minister of Agriculture (member)...
3- Minister of Urban Development (member). 4. Minister of Labor (member) 5. Attorney General (member)
The special court for PLG&RSL is consisted of four members as follow: 1. Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Abdul Ghafar (head of court) 2. Mohammad Sadiq (Judge) 3. Mohammad Tahir (Mufti)
Some facts about the #foreign_fighters (FFs) living under the #Taliban's shadow: 1. There are a couple of thousands of FFs living in #AFG under the TB's regime. Majority of them are settled in the east (Kunar&Nangarhar) & north (Badakhshan&Takhar) of AFG. afintl.com/en/202210196971
2. Pakistanis & citizens of Central Asian countries make the absolute majority of the FFs in AFG, followed by Arabs, Indians, Turks...
FFs in small numbers are scattered all over AFG, from south to north and from east to west.
3. While the FFs supported the TB in last 2 decades,
... the IEA have to host and protect them mainly for two reasons:
A. Religion and AFG traditions not allow the TB to expel the FFs or to handover them to their enemies (their countries of origin).
B. The TB can use the FFs as bargaining chips and as a means of pressure against...
