In today's update thread we shall recap on where exactly we are, the last 5 or 6 weeks have been fairly full-on for all of us, myself and @Peter_Dads_Army spent a huge amount of man-hours collecting these cars, lifting up the bonnets, doing a few bush fixes and getting

garage assistance where it was necessary.
As we already said two of the cars are now delivered and are with our aid partner, two more were also transported to Ukraine and are currently undergoing scheduled maintenance before going to #Donbas.

7th December, was a tough day as just after we set off we lost another tyre. We think this second tyre was damaged with the first one, it's just that we had not noticed the damage.

Fortunately, we found two new tyres within a few hours in #Bratislava. Unfortunately by the time we got going, we lost more than half a day :(

On the evening of December 8th, we arrived at the #Ukraine️ border, and we got stuck there for about 6 hours or so. It was a bit tricky because 2 of the V5 Vehicle Paper's had NOT arrived, and we only had DVLA letters and photos of a V5.

By the afternoon 9th of December, we finally meet with @PavelDudaAid guys and hand over 2 of the cars. They now have two Land Rover Discovery 2's which are now on their way to East Ukraine.

In the afternoon we dropped off the other two cars to our garage partner who we have used for the past 12 months or so. These 2 cars will require going onto ramps to have a few bits replaced before we can send them off to the front-line areas. They should be ready

At the moment we predominantly need more funds to pay for the repair bills for the 3rd and 4th vehicles, the 4th vehicle also has not been paid for yet although we have some time to pay for it. We also made a big dent in our own credit cards on fuel too, as well as

privately funding two car trailers for about £4000.
The whole project costs should come to between £13,000 and £14,000, as we said in our previous post whatever is left over, then we hope to be able to bring around 5t of sugar into #Ukraine.
