1/ Given the current state of AIP-183, .@Apecoin may be entering 2023 without an administrator which will cause unnecessary complications to $APE #DAO operations. I am proposing a solution that could perhaps solve the situation to everyone’s satisfaction under #AIP-1 rules

2/ The community deserves to be better informed, I believe it is absolutely necessary that Apecoin should never be without an administrator at any time because they are critical to keeping operations going for the DAO as described here forum.apecoin.com/t/aip-183-cart…

3/ I propose approving @CartanGroup as outlined in AIP-183 so DAO operations are not paused. Though the proposal is for 1 year, a new proposal for DAO operations & admins can be submitted 3 months after the proposal passes per AIP-1, Guideline 6. forum.apecoin.com/t/aip-1-propos…

4/ Approving the proposal will give us 3 months to draft a formal recruitment for a new administrator and agree on a voting mechanism for @apecoin DAO to select a new admin, it also gives us time to ensure an orderly transition (if that is what the community ultimately decides).

5/ This will also give the new council members joining the benefit of understanding better the roles & responsibilities of the administrator and what is required of them with appropriate handover mechanisms in place.

6/ The work extends beyond disbursement & payment to vendors, AIP management (discourse, review, snapshot etc.) but also managing compliance & legal, director risks etc. all would come to a temporary halt, legally council members are not the operators.

7/ @CartanGroup has been professional & hardworking and without their support the DAO would not have been in operation and they rose to the challenge during the most difficult #WIP formative stages. Being behind the scenes makes this a thankless job

8/ I am grateful for all the contributions @CartanGroup has done and would be sorry to see them go, I believe that it is partly because most do not know all that goes into running the DAO. The role of the council is not to be administrators or operators.

9/I have no financial interest in @CartanGroup nor is this an endorsement, that is for the community to decide. What I am interested in is in an orderly & smooth transition which, should AIP-183 not pass will create an unnecessary short-term crisis.

10/ I ask that the .@apecoin community vote for @CartanGroup while we bring in suitable alternatives so that $APE #DAO operations do not halt. This will give the community and new council members time to decide/change the most appropriate course of actions in the next 3 months.
