"It is your great devotion to the Guru, and the Peetha which has brought you here in your thousands travelling long distances to reach remote Sringeri. From Rameswaram to the Himalayas you have all assembled here. Is this not sufficient evidence of your awareness of the 2/n

greatness of this Sarada Peetha and Sankara Bhagavadpada? Where is sacred Sringeri, the spiritual abode of Rishyasrunga and where are the mighty Himalayas, the home of great seers? Where flows the river Tunga and where is the river Ganga? Yet, an old adage says, "Bathe in the 3/n

Ganga; drink from the Tunga". Even Though thousands of miles separate these landmarks, the devotees who have special attachments to their respective lands have gathered here because of guru bhakti. The pearls, the devotees, have been united at Sringeri by the string of guru 4/n

bhakti. People belonging to different geographic areas covered by the rivers Krishna, Godavari,#Cauvery,Tamraparani,#Narmada,#Sindu and so on have now become pearls in a single garland, tied together with the string of guru bhakti. Adi Shankara travelled all over the country 5/n

& decided that Sringeri, the spiritual abode of Sage Vibhandaka was ideal for locating a temple for #Goddess #Saradambal. Practise devotion towards the guru, develop your faith in this Peetha, eschew adharmic activities and be desirous of involving yourself in virtuous deeds. 6/n

Just as all of you have assembled here in thousands from distant parts of our country on a single mission, all of us must jointly pursue the ways & means of protecting our Sanatana, eternal dharma. Do participate in the dharmic activities of the math and pave the way for the 7/n

establishment of a dharma rajya. Do not give room for hesitations, doubts and fears.Cherish your Gurubhakti. Resolve that you will place your utmost faith in this Peetha and to protect our dharma. Hoist the flag of dharma and hold it high. What purpose is served by 8/10

merely talking? You should prove yourselves by your deeds, not by mere talk. Integrate Bhagavatpada's guidance into your lives. Read and contemplate on the ideas found in his commentaries. This would enable you to be rid of and be free from the fetters of the past. 9/10

Meditate on Saradambal whom we see here or the Saradambal of remote #Kashmir. Indeed, both are the same."
