I've got quite the list of projects I'm pondering to look at, so today I will present you @OnChainSmokers in this little thread and tell you what I think🧵🚬🔮: /1 #MultiversX #NFTs

First of all their website is a beautiful one-page design that covers a lot of important aspects and has a link to their spark paper, an entertaining PowerPoint-style PDF pitch./2

In essence the main idea behind OCS a digital membership program, offering discounts in partner cannabis shops and several more exclusive benefits to owners of the utility NFTs they have created. /3

The team is presenting itself in a professional and fairly public manner with some LinkedIn profiles or atleast other social media and portraits on their website. /4

The design of the NFTs - though it's a utility one - is pretty cool (high quality video clip) and each NFT has a different unique ID. All are treated equal in their system. /5

As with most web3 projects it's very much a work in progress and some ideas and features aren't yet fully worked out. /6

Nevertheless, the minds behind it certainly invested a lot of hours in this business model and the cannabis/coffee shop industry is a good target for new and disruptive ideas. /7

The spark paper describes that most of the NFTs have been sold and are bein sold on location in coffee shops where a lot of users were onboarded into MultiverseX and essentially Crypto and installed the wallet the very first time. An impressive feat! /8

I don't know the details of the cooperations with the shops, but it's a mutual beneficial one and I have been told that there is contracts in place to assure cooperation and user benefits. In the next revision of their website more info should be available. /9

The first bunch of passes were sold at roughly 50 Euro and a five percent off discount at the partner shops is minimum, so if you are a regular smoker you will have your money back swiftly. /10

This isn't a project to degen for big gains, but a nice pioneer project for nft use for and in real world adoption. the NFTs are limited to 1 per wallet. The NFTs are trading well above mint price and for now the presale sold out online and are only available at the shops. /11

Of course the value of the NFTs will ultimately depend on if the OCS "Club" becomes renowned and popular and the discounts stay attractive. Memberships could well keep appreciating in value. /12

I strongly invite you to read their Spark Paper to see what they have already achieved. /13

They have reached quite a few milestones in real world adoption and this is not a typical nft project, but a web3 startup using nfts for a membership program. /14

Nevertheless as for the #NFT space they have build strong partnerships with some of the established projects on MvX like @ElrondDucks or @Karithaio! /15

Another big plus is the professional communication via all their channels, medium articles, twitter etc. Refreshingly better than most what we are used to in the crypto wild west. /16

Bottom line: One of the top projects on MultiversX - I imagine with a great pitch and some more convincing arguments and dreams it could have had launchpad potential - They don't see themselves as a degen/speculators project and so don't I.../17

It's a serious endeavour and investing in it should be seen as supporting a serious web 3 project, or if you're a smoker, it's pretty much a no brainer. /18
