I wonder if Navalny will recognize borders of #Tatarstan as well.
On August 30, 1990, Tatarstan declared its sovereignty with the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of the Tatar Soviet Socialist Republic and in 1992 Tatarstan held a referendum on the new constitution. 1/4
In the 1992 Tatarstan Constitution, Tatarstan is defined as a Sovereign State. They did that according to soviet law and UN charter. But Russia ignored that, russian court decided Tatarstan is Russia. In 2002 russia introduced in their constitution that Tatarstan is Russia.2/4
On December 20, 2008, in response to Russia recognizing Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the Milli Mejlis of the Tatar People organization declared Tatarstan independent and asked for United Nations recognition. However, this declaration was ignored both by the United Nations and

the Russian government. On July 24, 2017, the autonomy agreement signed in 1994 between Moscow and Kazan expired, making Tatarstan the last republic of Russia to lose its special status.

Historical remark: “Chicken Kyiv speech”
On July 30, 1991, Bush arrived in Moscow for a summit with Mikhail Gorbachev. He and Barbara, along with Gorbachev and his wife Raisa, stayed at their country house in the suburbs of Moscow, where the two leaders held informal talks.

Bush told Gorbachev that it was not in America's interest for the Soviet Union to collapse. He convinced Gorbachev that he would turn Ukrainians against independence when he went to Ukraine on August 1, 1991.

There are two words in Ukrainian which mean “anniversary”: річниця (richnytsia) and роковини (rokovyny).
Річниця is to celebrate and роковини is to honor the memory.
Today is rokovyny of force confrontation during the Revolution of Dignity.

Read: russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
The same church which blessed the genocide of Ukrainian people. The same church which prepares “combat priests”. And blesses the russian weapons. Where the head of a church is an FSB employee. Why don’t we want it in Ukraine, right? 1/6

with violations of russian law, because she had neither a profile nor any other higher education, having graduated from college with a degree in "variety orchestra conductor".
Maria gave birth to 5 children, adopted 5 children and has 13 children under guardianship.

She is a so-called “composite image of an exemplary mother” used by Russian propaganda, in particular, in order to accelerate the processes of illegal adoption of forcibly deported Ukrainian children.

Oh, those people who have no idea about Chornobyl, telling it “wasn’t so bad”.
They miss the part of not telling anything about Chornobyl catastrophe to public. There was a govt organized parade in Kyiv on 1 of May, while radiation levels were 125 times higher than normal. 1/5
My grandfather was working at Kharkiv Institute of Nuclear Research at that time and found out about Chornobyl from his Polish colleagues, who noticed an elevated radiation level in Poland. Not from USSR authorities.

He called our relatives in Kyiv and asked not to participate in the parade, they said that “Our government knows what is best for us” and went there…
The rescuers participating in the liquidation of the catastrophe mostly were not aware of radiation levels as well.

This is Andrii Bednyakov, Ukrainian tv host and a citizen of #Mariupol.
His mother passed away in the besieged city. Their apartment building was demolished. Captions are not perfect but provide the idea of how Ukrainians feel and what go through. 1/2 #RussiaIsATerroristState
His mother had health issues, she fell in coma and died. His sister managed to take their mother outside the city and burry her on occupied territory. This sister wrote: "I did not do it near our house, as the people of our yard and the whole city buried their relatives"
