1/ Yet again @NickFerrariLBC shows he's extremely ill informed.

As anyone familiar with the facts knows, the activists' demands are entirely consistent with mainstream science, yet Nick is too lazy to inform himself.

2/ Just last month hundreds of the UKs leading scientists made clear that:

"The UK should commit to preventing any new oil & gas field development."

3/ This is so mainstream that even @fbirol, Executive Director of the @IEA, has said there "can be no new investment in oil, gas and coal"!

@fbirol @IEA @NickFerrariLBC 4/ @UNEP's Production Gap report makes plain that we will completely blow our carbon budget unless we restrict production.

5/ A team from @ucl looked at what this means for the UK's North Sea & found: “There is no need for new oil and gas fields in the UK" !
