Expectant management is an option, but so is early delivery. “I say this as a pro-life physician: It is appropriate to deliver at that point. Because we know that likelihood that four days, six days [later], she’s going to be clinically infected." nationalreview.com/2023/03/pro-li… #prolife
"the likelihood for progression to life-threatening sepsis for the mother is high, and the prognosis for continued extra-uterine life for the fetus is poor, the law allows an exception where an abortion is necessary to preserve the 'life of the mother'. " judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
The lawsuit begins by saying the crisis experienced by Zurawski is a “direct result of Texas’s abortion bans.” But later in the document, admits that the law does not require hospitals to wait to act until a life-threatening condition becomes dire. nationalreview.com/2023/03/pro-li…

#UnplannedPregnancy? Please don't kill your child. There are many #resources to help you #ChooseLife. optionline.org/options
Abortion workers know they are killing human beings. If that's not what you want to do, pregnancy resource centers can point you to other sources of help, such as WIC, Medicaid (half of the births in the US fall under Medicaid), SNAP and TEFAP. ImageImageImage
If a woman needs a place to stay, there are many maternity homes she can go to, including those listed here: natlhousingcoalition.org

So much wrong with this article: "The doctor asked not to be named because the hospital where they work has not given them permission to speak to the media," but said a specialist would have to do the who could do the "complicated and risky" termination. cnn.com/2023/02/08/hea…
We can't get details because the hospital won't let the doctor speak to the media, but we're supposed to believe that Beth's life was more at risk carrying her pregnancy to term rather than having a "complicated and risky" abortion at 17 or more weeks gestation?
The couple was told there was no chance for the baby to survive long after delivery, but that may not be true. And why an abortion at 21 weeks when a C-section could be done if Beth's health deteriorated? pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17186342/ #abortionban #malpractice?
