Last night I reported on an explosion in St Petersburg

It's been revealed it was at an abandoned thermal power plant, leaving a crater 6m wide.

No-one can find out how it happened! One local official thinks it may have been a Second World War bomb exploding.

Welcome to the weekend, and Day 934 of #Russia's illegal war.

I'm trying to overcome technical problems all this morning, hence the later start.

But I will not be stopped in bringing you the news from, and about, #Ukraine every single day, in one handy thread.

We fight a constant battle against X censorship, so please share, spread, recommend valued accounts and check if you or friends have been unfollowed from favourite people/accs.

76 out of 76 - a 100% record for #Ukraine defenders of the skies.

During the night (and morning) none of #Russia's 76 attack drones hit targets according to Air Defence command.

72 were shot down, 2 disappeared and 2 more went home to #Russia.

The big news this morning is of #Ukraine successes inside #Russia. No civilians killed, no apartment blocks hit. Just military targets, even in #Moscow region.

The Kremlin says over 150 drones were shot down in the biggest Ukraine UAV attack of the war.
