 Judging by the scarce information, all lightly wounded AFU servicemen who did not make it to hospitals alive have in common a possible deliberate self-inflicted gunshot wounds in order to get to the rear and avoid participation in combat operations.

 It is possible that the Ukrainian Nazi barrier units, which were formed at the front to deal with deserters and evaders, are no longer enough, and the zealous Nazis decided to execute the evaders in this manner as an example to others.
