Man Arrested for Sexual Harassment in a Bus:Kerala
Savad Sha, is a name that has gained popularity in Kerala since last evening, albeit for the wrong reasons. He was arrested for misbehaving with a girl in a bus. Attached are his images from his Facebook profile.
The incident came to light after the girl, Nanditha, took to social media to talk about it and also posted a video of the incident that she herself shot. From the images, it appears that he is associated with the Muslim League of Kerala in some manner. #KeralaNews

So, this is what Nanditha narrates in her video: She was on her way from Thrissur to Kochi when Savad boarded the bus and sat on a reserved women's seat next to Nanditha. Soon, the man started touching her inappropriately.

Apparently, he also started touching himself inappropriately after unzipping his pants. At this point, she got up, confronted the man, and recorded the incident with her mobile phone camera. 4/7
After being confronted, he tried to escape when the bus stopped in between. However, the driver and the conductor chased and caught him, handing him over to the police. One thing that stands out in the entire video is the silence of the co-passengers though. 5/7
The conductor deserves applause for taking immediate action. There was just one question he asked the girl: "Do you have a complaint?" to which she responded with a yes.
The other passengers must ask themselves if they would have kept quiet if this was their sister.

It's unbelievable that guys like this still exist in our society, walking among us as if they were one of us. How do we, as a society, deal with people like this?
To those passengers sitting quiet: You guys need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Shame!

1921 Malabar riots, Gandhi and a Malayalam Movie:
Malabar riots of 1921 often called the “Moplah rebellion” is a topic that was not discussed openly in Kerala until recently (“Moplah” is a term used to refer to Kerala Muslims)
1/36
Moplah riots have always been whitewashed by the Congress and the left historians as freedom struggle against the British. However, the reality is something else!
2/36
Any sensible society would know that reopening old wounds can only disturb the goodwill that exists in the society between various communities. Therefore, these riots were never a part of political discourse at least in the last 30-40 years.

Raghuram Rajan is back! And I must say that he has remarkable ability to stay in the headlines. A couple of months ago, he was seen walking with India's "forever future PM" Rahul Gandhi, thereby openly displaying his loyalty to the Congress. #RaghuramRajan 1/4
According to him, India is dangerously close to what he calls the "Hindu rate of growth". This is a term coined by late Indian economist Raj Krishna to refer to the slow growth rate of India during 1950-1980. Why don't you call it the "Nehruvian rate of growth" Mr. Rajan?
2/4
Why bring back a term that is outdated and is irrelevant? And how are Hindus to blame for the inefficiency of Congress? Further, the growth rate during that period was below 4%, whereas we are growing at around 7% now, and is the fastest growing major economy in the world.
