This is going to be a long #thread about my journey through education system with emphasis on the postgraduate studies. I hope this will help some of you who are interested in doing masters or PhD @AcademicChatter @PhDVoice @AcademicsSay @PhD_Connect @OpenAcademics #phdchat #PhD Let’s starts from the beginning, “when I was a young warthog...”, just kidding, a bit of Pumbaa reference here. On a serious note, I have just came out of my 2nd undergraduate study, I was 22, and wasn’t sure what to do. I’m sure a lot of you can relate to that dilemma.

Hi everyone! I didn’t expect such a response from PhD community! I’m so happy to hear from you all and I’m working through the messages! Because of the interest in a PhD support group I’m working on creating a forum for “PhD students by PhD students”! #phdchat #AcademicChatter This forum will be dedicated to you all wonderful PhD students. You will be able to get advice, post publicly, ask questions and give answers, engage with fellow students and ask for help. I hope it will be a safe space for everyone to enjoy! #AcademicChatter #phdchat #phd

I thought I would share my personal experience of how I realized I was dyslexic. Everything started when I first came to UK to do my A-levels. I always struggled with writing but never understood why. In Russia back in 2007-2009 dyslexia wasn’t recognized as widely. So when I came to UK, teachers in my school assumed all my struggles were due to the English language barrier. I couldn’t understand why my spoken English was so good but my writing English didn’t match it. It was so strange for me.
