In the European Parliament today, cross-group MEPs have one resounding message.

Silence is not an option.

We need an immediate ceasefire, provision of urgently needed humanitarian aid, and the end of violence in Israel and Palestine. So far the European Parliament has shamefully failed to call for a ceasefire, instead insisting on short “humanitarian pauses”.

This is not good enough.

10,000 civilians killed in Gaza.
4,000 of them are children.
