1/9 As you may know, the SEC and Ripple (#XRP issuer) have been fighting a legal battle over whether XRP is a security. Recently, evidence was ordered to be released to Ripple which could affect not just XRP but ETH and any other coins the SEC tries to categorize as securities 👇🏻
2/9 That evidence includes a number of internal SEC emails which Ripple’s lawyers believe will reveal how the SEC originally decided BTC and ETH were not securities as well as potentially if there was some bias involved in giving BTC and ETH a “free pass”.
