🇷🇺Analysis🇷🇺
This morning it was claimed that the Russian Frigate #AdmiralMakarov was hit by some form of weaponry.

Looking at the Satellite imagery and pictures form the base, One #GrigorovichFFGH is at sea, however, based off SAR imagery off Snake Island (Claimed Loc).. only MERCHANT VESSELS at anchor, in addition to the Rigs that are to the East and North East of the island are visible in the SAR imagery.
This image (Image 1) was taken at 0405Z, and throughout the whole coverage recorded this morning, No frigate sized unit is visible..

The surfacing of this video today is a strange one. So stand by for a thread on my opinions -->

1. The video shows a large squad of personnel fallen in, two ranks deep. This video is reminiscent of a "Clear Lower Deck" in the Royal navy, where the command staff brief the ships company before a unit sails on operation...

I think we should all celebrate this tactical victory for the Ukrainian Military because the loss of this unit, will have a massive knock on effect in the days and weeks to come

But as a Sailor ,I cant help but think about the persons on board who would have lost there lives

Granted, people join the military to serve there country, and sometimes this involves a war. And all Current or Ex serving persons know this.
But there is something that hits hard inside me that, no matter if your in a given navy, or merchant marine, it hits home....
