I guess I’ll live-tweet the #RNC2020 here. Listen... they used a Black woman to say she was a socialist and immediately after, they used a white man to reintroduce the welfare queen. THEN they introduced Stacia (who seems lovely) to talk about her hard work and new job. #FAIL What’s going on with his eyes? This guy was a golf caddy and Trump gave him the come up, so now it’s lifetime loyalty, eh? #RNC2020

Happy Birthday to @RepMaxineWaters, who is 82 today! Auntie Maxine, you are a freedom fighter and you have always taught us how to fight—-with dignity, grace, ferocity, exactness and an unrelenting quest for justice. YOU are responsible for setting the tone on 45! Thank YOU! ❤️ This was the moment when Auntie Maxine completely and totally rejected 45 and all lies and excuses around Russian interference that undermined democracy. She was still considered a little “too radical” then. She stayed the course and NEVER wavered that 45 was deadly incompetent.

THREAD 5/30
I was assaulted by a White male photographer AFTER our very peaceful #PittsburghProtest. I was on FB Live. He ran away but witnesses saw him interviewed on @WPXI (Ch 11), saying he was attacked by Black people. Please help me find him. #BlacksLivesMatter #Pittsburgh The actual #PittsburghProtest itself went very well, it was a fully, Black led and multiracial coalition of folks who came out in solidarity to seek #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd in #Minnesota and reassert that ALL #BlackLivesMatter, everywhere, even in #Pittsburgh, #Pennsylvania. ✊🏾

Twitter Family, I had a wonderful, peaceful trip with Black American women to Ghana, followed by a productive, solo artist retreat, only to return to the USA and see two Black women in my city of #Pittsburgh being brutally beaten by FOUR MEN @ExxonMobil! facebook.com/Bherring1430/v… We are still gathering the facts; but based on what has been reported so far, one woman pumped $17 worth of gas⛽️ but noticed the pump was leaking. She went inside the @exxonmobil (at 2501 Brighton Street, 15212), to report it and was rudely dismissed by employees. #Pittsburgh

So, let me do a bit of story time on @KanyeWest, since he thinks he's out of The Sunken Place. And I can't thank @JordanPeele enough for his metaphor.
*stirs tea in teacup*. I have a confession. The only reason why I am not mad at @KanyeWest right now is because I have held a petty grudge against him for many years because he had a mother with a Ph.D. who taught Literature at Chicago State University, yet he named his first album, "College Dropout."
