#SupremeCourt CJI Bobde led bench to hear suo motu cognizance taken by it over the issue of the critical situation arising due to shortage in supply of oxygen to hospitals in the Capital and also of the shortage of life-saving drugs. Yesterday, SupremeCourt took Suo motu with regard to the Supply of oxygen, Supply of Essential Drugs, the method and manner of Vaccination and the power to declare the lockdown. “We want the power to lockout with the State Government not by a judicial order,” said the Court.

#SupremeCourt bench headed by Chief Justice of India start hearing “Shantanu Kumar V Union of India”, matter relating to the allegation that the CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Examination 2017 and CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Examination 2017 were tainted. Today-Prashant Bhushan says that the report of the Committee led by Justice Singhvi has been submitted.
One of the recommendation is that the exam may not be scrapped to which Mr. Bhushan objects.
