Trigger Warning ⚠️

Here in @Clubhouse, a young group of Hindus are discussing with impunity: a) "hitting on a muslim girl's vagina is equal to destruction of 7 Babri masjids", b) "we're RSS fans, we'll convert muslim girls, & c) muslim girls' vagina is pinkish than hindus
1/2 In the same series of "discussion" on @Clubhouse, a Brahmin guy says that he has an 'oedipus complex' for his mother (a Muslim woman). Very sportingly, he is advised to murder his dad (Hindu man) so he can sleep with her "pink vagina".

Yeah, this is the state of India now!

Few liberals with 20K+ followers in my twitter DMs are of the view that "ambedkarites must move beyond twitter sphere and bring revolution on ground" for which I believe I need to refute their misconception through this thread.

1/10 First of all, thanks for the unwanted view. It's said that liberalism is supposed to internalise the matters since it believes in the idea of liberty, free speech & choices, property rights, etc. The idea of liberalism that Indian liberals have is stemmed from savarna gaze.

Evidence of social stratification can be found in several later Persian works, such as Siyasatnama of Nizam al-Mulk (11th century), Akhlaq-i Nasiri of Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (13th century), and Jam-i-Mufidi (17th century).

You see, if you look @ Dr Ambedkar merely as an icon or a personality, you're mistaken. Well, I can blame the left-liberal for toning him down to the status of anti-caste reformer & also the right-wing for appropriating him conveniently.

Thread: 'what actually is Ambedkar?'
1/12 When I'm saying #Ambedkar, I am foundationally referring to an aggregated state of critical consciousness too. Ambedkar was more than a human being. Ambedkar reflects the maxim of 'educate, organise, agitate'

So, liberals on twitter and elsewhere believe that they will overtake the ideology/party of Hindutva by 2024 and eventually save India from 'new' India. I admire their [over]confidence, but there are few vital things/issues I highlight through this thread for them.

1/16 2/16

First of all, on empathetic note, I admire them for their vision to counter and transcend Hindutva. But, let's do a bit of pragmatic analysis of their ignorance, egotism and stubbornness, etc.

To begin with...

It's a privilege to be a Hindu, in this nation, amidst the demography of Muslims, Avarnas, Christians or Adivasis. But, especially when it comes to beef or cow smuggling, it's a "cherry on a cake" privilege if you're a Brahmin, Rajput or OBC amongst Hindus.

Thread.
1/13 Image This whole thread consist of snippets and excerpts on the matter of Hindus involvement in cow smuggling business & hate politics against Muslims, via an article (May 2021 issue) from @thecaravanindia, followed by few tweets from my end on Hindu religion's support for beef.

On the behest of few well-wishers on twitter, here's a brief thread of my articles (Part-One) that you're entitled to use/read/refute them freely or even to use it as a counter to the ultracrepidarians' ignorance on twitter or elsewhere.

Part-2 or podcasts some other day.

Note: I'm 'master of none, jack of all'. Like Dr Ambedkar, I'm a polymath too. So all these work from my end are interdisciplinary by nature, in this epoch of information globalisation!

If you think my blogs are underrated on twitter, please amplify this thread.

With all due respect, here's a quick thread on contemporary Periyarism!

1/4

With special regards to the so-called ideological coalition with Ambedkarites, despite being an Ambedkarite, some imp. 3 pointers for both the entities that can be replied without trolling me or anyone: Point 1

Ambedkarites might still prefer separate electorates for Dalits, while the Periyarites would want self-determination rights for themselves. Assuming that Article 1 of Constitution be abolished, Periyarites go in sync with Ambedkar's speech on 'grammar of anarchy'?

Thanks for saying this. I remember getting brutally trolled in December 2020 for critiquing the theory of Mayawati's statues by few militant Ambedkarites. I accept I was ignorant about significance of statue's face diplomacy, but instead of guiding me...I was trolled

Thread 1/16 Considering how the Indian state has been brahminized by undermining the Ambedkarite voices, I realised Mayawati's step lately. In this thread, I offer constructive outlook on Mayawati's 2022 approaches with a little essence on past and present politics.

Yesterday was #LaborDay but none of us recalled some revolutionary thoughts of Bhagat Singh, a freedom fighter who has been appropriated by India's riot/hindutva wing today.

Bhagat believed that caste/casteism degraded the life/dignity of laborer.

Thread.

The caste system, according to Bhagat Singh, was a system to extract free and cheap labour from the most under-privileged communities.

In ‘Satyagraha and Strike’ (1928), Bhagat ratiocinated that manual scavengers (untouchables) were the real working class: Image

Amid a population of 135 crore, only 1.2L beneficiaries received incentives under 'Inter-Caste Marriage scheme' in 7 years. Although it's said that government's motivation to drive social exogamy is noble but is monetary incentivization enough to make the point?

Data here.
1/11 This measure i.e. promoting inter-caste marriages by providing financial assistance to couples marrying to Scheduled Castes (SCs) has been rolled out by governments at central & state levels to eradicate caste-based discrimination & increase intermingling of castes.

The price for standing for yourself is the greatest treasure that one has to pay to bear the cost of toxic parenting, social statism and 'culture'.

Here's the case of a so-called friend, a girl, who was intimidated today morning by her 'Rajput' dad.

Thread.
1/10 Her crime is that she believes that she can make decisions for herself. She is financially independent, but her hindu 'rajput' family is against her personal choice i.e. getting married to a hindu guy of 'vaishya' caste, lower than 'kshatriya' clan.

Bhakts, today, are celebrating the birth anniversary of Subhashchandra Bose. Bose was a freedom fighter who culminated INA to fight the British imperialism.

Whereas Bhakts' antecedents favored British imperialism over INA.

Thread (1/9) on Hindu Mahasabha's hypocrisy: When Bose, during World War II (1939-1945), was trying to secure foreign support for liberation of India and trying to organise a military attack towards the northeast of the country, it was 'Veer' Savarkar who offered full military cooperation to the Britishers.

Some thoughts/excerpts on "I could not be #Hindu" by a former #RSS sevak/worker Bhanwar Meghwanshi, a #Dalit.

The book is really worth reading, just like #Ambedkar's "Annihilation of #Caste".

It is a unique 'testimony' to the RSS's #casteism.

Thread
1/23 Bhanwar has realised, in the end, that establishment of #RSS was also a partly reaction to the rise of #Dalit politics under the aegis of #Ambedkar whose first anti-caste mobilisations (including the Mahad satyagraha and temple entry movements).

It's not 'good governance day'. It's #ManusmritiDahanDivas'.

I bet, a lot many Indians are not aware about the same. During the Mahad Satyagraha, Dr Ambedkar bravely showed #Manusmriti its place. Mahad Satyagraha was a fight to assert the Dalits’ right to access "public water", and to embrace humanity and dignity.

For Dr Ambedkar—a staunch advocate of women’s rights and emancipation—it was a political action to burn #Manusmriti publicly.

After Uttar Pradesh, Haryana is embracing the 'bandwagon effect' of laws against love jihad. Other states will follow the chain too.

The law is not in sync with Article 25 of the Indian Constitution, in the first place, & it's tuned to Modi's political philosophy.

1/9
Secondly, the ramification of this abhorrent and misogynical law will disdain (and discourage) women to make inform and free choices for herself. No doubt the philosophy of this law is stemmed from Manusmriti's thoughts over women's rights.

Ram 'lynched' shudra sage Shambukha.

[Reference: Valmiki Ramayana, Book 7, the 'Uttarakanda' (Final Chapter), sargas 73-76]

The 'casteist' story is not popularly known in the circles, for all the political reasons that you and me subconsciously know. (73) When Rama is reigning as a virtuous king, a humble aged Brahmin comes to him, weeping, with his dead son in his arms.

He says that Rama must have committed some sin, or else his son would not have died.

Indian voters won't vote for coherent issues, in 2024, because they are shifted to that overton window wherein religious consciousness would matter. The current regime has a proactive PR machineries, which even integrated opposition parties can't imagine to possess.

Logical fallacies, as posited by the so-called opposition parties, alone would not influence the behavioral pattern on EVMs. Let's keep it straight and honest.

It's the narratives that matter in the upcoming landscape. The opposition parties may do regionally well but...

Non-Buddhists, especially Hindus, often certify that Ambedkarite Buddhism is NOT #Buddhism.

First of all, nobody asked for their 'opinion'.

Second thing, Buddhism is flexible and liberal enough to alter as per the consciousness of epoch.

1/4 2/4

Third thing, Ambedkarite Buddhism is a school of thought in the branch of #Buddhism. There's no dire need for any 'internationally accredited' agency to validate this sect.

It's just another extension to the organic growth of Buddhist philosophy.
