I have this suspicion that there is an overwhelming silent majority who are not okay with the fictional narrative that “corona is over”, of the mass delusion that we can resume normality ignoring the real and present danger of #sars2. It takes immense strength to speak out.

1/ The #inconvenienttruth is the majority of us do not have agency over our own lives. We rely on a pay check to afford the basic necessities and pleasures. We’re social creatures who need connection with others, in person.

Does anyone realize that because of the universal mass infection policies of neoliberal countries, the vast majority of us no longer have access to safe healthcare? I spent almost a month in the U.S. to finalize our repatriation and the following thread is my anecdotal experience. The U.S. is far from a shining citadel on a hill with its unique fresh hells but a much safer alternative to living in the Netherlands in the time of Covid-19 ❤️‍🩹 Flying to the U.S. is much safer than returning to Europe. We flew from Frankfurt airport via @lufthansa . The U.S. requires 24-hour Covid-19 test and the mask policy was strictly enforced. The return was a nightmare — EU policy of no testing and no enforcement of masks.
