Today I wanted to share with you the first page of my story with Erik Lervold, Battle Royale.

Well, we fixed that this year by creating a story related very heavily to the awesome cover by Aaron Alexovich.

The #1 thing an editor needs is to create a safe space for their creators to create... ...to know that they have a safe space to do art; to know that they will have a compassionate ear and a sharp eye when looking at their story; to know when push comes to shove their editor will be there to shield them as best they can.

Most creators will complain about not having a community, and then do nothing about building one for themselves.

Here are a couple ways you can take the reigns of building your own creative community. People often talk about giving of yourself & put in a lot of work in the background unnoticed, but these are ways that are beneficial to both you and them, and can scale from one to many.
