Remember when I wrote the thread asking why Canadian mainstream media isn’t doing its job? This might be why.

Because it’s no longer Canadian. An American hedge fund owning >60% of Postmedia shares directs Canadian news & is in the process of dismantling journalism in Canada.
This is probably partially why mainstream media refuses to cover the attempted assassination of the Prime Minister and rather chooses to excoriate him and a Canadian charity for youth empowerment instead.

Foreign ownership means foreign interests are primary.
What does the refusal to adequately inform the public about an attempted assassination and choosing instead to eviscerate the intended victim in a hyperbolized fake scandal say about the Canadian media that has the largest readership in Canada?
