1/ an intro to @spockframework

including:
- using #spockfw in a polyglot organization including any tips/tricks for integrating with other languages like #Java and #Kotlin
- the top things you wish you knew when you started using spock
- good testing practices in general

2/ Creating APIs with #springboot and #groovylang

including:
- best practices, data formats, and tradeoffs
- creating vs consuming APIs
- which libraries can help like #springdata #springsecurity and #springrestdocs
- how to test the API

3/ Deploying an X app to Y(cloud service)

Any x from the #groovylang ecosystem like #grailsfw #micronautfw #springboot or #ratpack. And #aws was the most common submission for Y in past years, but it would be nice to see some #heroku #cloudfoundry #gcp or #azure talks this year.

4/ Creating and publishing a #gradle plugin written with #groovylang

It's a ➕ if you have a popular published plugin you can demo.

5/ Functional programming with Apache Groovy

Highlighting key functions and patterns unique to #groovylang

6/ A comparison of frameworks for building web applications with #groovylang

Preferably going beyond the hello world example and showing the use cases for each.

7/ Groovy for #android

It doesn't need to be #groovylang specific. It can be something any developer would be interested in seeing including integrations for #jira, #github #intellij #trello #slack etc and process hacks
