However I have loved ones living there & my grandparents had worked hella hard to move to HK where they ended up having my parents & them having me. I've always been proud to say that I was born in HK while living in Canada & it's always been joyful talking about my visits there.

The past several years in HK have been slowly crushing my soul & now that I've a better understanding of my rights & the sociopolitical circumstances I face, it's absolutely devastating to see this happening to my birth city. #HongKongProtest #freehongkong #onecountrytwosystems

By no means, this is directed to the country, nor its citizens. The land is beautiful -wherever it's not damaged- and I've developed memorable relationships with some of the kindest people.
