Two mistakes:

1) When you blame the military for every vice & problem in #Pakistan, you are hands down the worst analyst/political commentator in the world.

It’s like you don’t know abt the corruption & extra-judicial killings of the 80s & 90s.

During the 80s & 90s, #journalists, #police, & #bureaucrats were bought and sold at the behest of #NawazSharif & #BenazirBhutto.

#ShehbazSharif maintained his own killing squad to take out political rivals.

What rank in the military did they hold?

During the 80s & 90s, judges were removed because the political leadership didn’t like their decisions.

CJP Sajjad Ali Shah was removed, even though he asked the military to help him. #PMLN stormed the #SupremeCourt.

Which General ordered this?

2) Historically, it’s been political governments that have begged the military to step in.

It was #ShehbazSharif visiting #GHQ to invite the military to overthrow their opposition govts.

That wasn’t the military. It was politicians.

Historically, it’s been politicians that have denied rights to #Pakistanis.

#Karachi had no development funds until #Musharraf.

#FATA has nothing because the federal govt never paid attention to their needs.

Look at #Sindh, where #PPP leadership comes from?

Is that military?

If disenfranchised groups are raising their voices, it’s because the “democratically” elected leaders of #Pakistan, #Balochistan, #KhyberPakthunkhwa, #Punjab & #Sindh have thought of themselves first.

The progressives of this country always saw #PakistanFirst.

If disenfranchised voices are screaming today in #Pakistan, it’s because they trusted elected representatives to solve problems.

They did not.

It’s not our military that’s the problem.

It’s our propaganda activists that are only interested in their followers, not #Pakistan.
