1/ Operational situation update/ #russian_invasion in #Ukraine on January 23, 2023
Globally the situation is still under the control of #Ukrainians everywhere. no major Ru breakthrough whatsoever. but always some relentless attacks
in lots of direction today - recap

2/ As explained yesterday some actions are still taking places all around #Bilohorivka in #Luhansk and Ru are trying to find a way to defeat defenses there, but globally they are just failing because they are bad Tango dancers & are far less good soldiers in that specific area

3/ #Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of #Vyimka where Ru were asked this morning to launch another deep attack. but lack of materials, training & really planning against very well prepared #UAarmy failed one more time in the area..
They can't attack from

4/ from really good positions & are unable to go through the field and storm the UKr positions so they r failing each time.
Also failed offensive today on #Vesele & #Rozdolivka Also we are not sure abt #Krasnopolivka tonight even if "shelled" so still UKR forces there.

5/ Then we go south & today we have witnessed quite hard offensives of Ru trying to go "around" #KrasnaHora to reach #Paraskoviyivka, and also to go deep in #Bakhmut where the defenders are doing quite a good job r still motivated to hold their positions. not much changes there.

6/ of course i'm not going to be a "fanboy" & pretend all is fine as it is not & it's never good to have to fight within a city. As we have seen in #Soledar, sending hordes of altered minded Zombies is never a "win win" situation & should be avoided but troops there haven changed

7/ and to be honest, you can tell the diff since 2 entire brigades of super well trained pro, have made their "rotation" and as now, the "newer" corps are there to fight. Also when you have thousands of good men who knew the "drills"... in hospital does not help
hoping for this :

8/ anyway.. now the situation in #Bakhmut south as evolved (also new map)
after days of being really in fear that #Wagner schmucks would be able to seize #Ivaniske the contrary happened & actually a major push back have occurred until (to) the limit of #Klishchiivka (shelled!)

9/ Also this morning Ru tried to directly push to #Stupochky but were absolutely annihilated! it was really not fun for them that early & even before actual coffee time. everything is "ok" now.
Seems that UKR "command" is willing to act more & avoid what would be an absolute

10/ disaster if the famous #H32 (T-0504) would fall under Ru control, & even if #Bakhmut would still be connected by 00506, it would more than perilous to allow that. because if Ru are to take #TchassivYar #ЧасівЯр then it would be a REAL cauldron.
Not a situation to live.

11/ Also because as explained once, it would mean that Ru would able to shell #Bakhmut all day long in the defenders back, on all the supply roads, on all equipments, & basically it would mean "game over" for #Bakhmut, or just a stupid carnage.
so yes, this is very important.

12/ Anyway, last part and last map : #Majorsk was shelled as #kurdyumivka #Курдюмівка tonight indicating that ru are out" of their previous scouting postions and back to their little "tiny comfort" on the bridge of the hill.
which is very very good news!

13/ in the #Avdiivka direction Ru are still trying (about million time now) to go forward and take #Pervomaiske #Pervomayske (still shelled) & no vids whatsoever to prove it otherwise. same goes for #Nevelske, #Krasnohorivka, #Heorhiyivka and #Mariinka (Always battling...)

14/ In the Zaporizhzhya direction Ru shelled #Vremivka, #Novosilka and Vilne Pole in Donetsk region & Hulyaypole, #MalaTokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Stepova and Pavlivka in Zaporizhzhya region (i'll maybe do some maps by end of weeks)

15/ Also quite really good news today!
we can celebrate because it was a good day to shoot Ru flying crocodiles and others SU-25
and still a steady destruction of Ru armed forces

16/ last gen staff report of the day :
The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 2x russian Su-25 aircraft, 1x Ka-52 attack helicopter (..)
At the same time, Ukrainian missile & arty troops attacked
3x concentrations of the occupants and 1x logistics depot.

17/ there are some news about #Kreminna but as i had no time yet to check anything about that i won't report about it.
ok, so that's about it.. i will see if i come back later to complete all the reports...

need some rest (all the new maps took me quite some times to make..)

26/ Right now anyway as several top ministers have assessed and report, Ukrainians are in urgent need of ammo. Don't worry they will be there this summer but tons of preparations needs to be make now.
