The #USNavy #Zumwaltclass destroyers were supposed to have #AGS capable of firing ultra long range 155mm shells, have no shells as they were canceled. Now, to re-add the X-factor the #USN is replacing AGS guns with VLS for upto 12 hypersonic missiles. Costing a lot of $$$$$$$$$s

Once the greatest #Navy on Earth, decided it was too great and powerful to have a ship mounted AShM. The #Brits decided #RoyalNavy could retire its #Harpoons without procuring a replacement anytime soon. Luckily , it didnt happen. This is why I feel #UK will cause #AUKUS to fail?

Posted this yesterday but, when the #US was commissioning #Aegis cruisers and destroyers, the #UK was commissioning respectable #Type23 frigates the #French commissioned #LaFayette class frigates with CIWS SRSAM and MANPADS for AD to protect their #Nuclearpowered #Aircraftcarrier

#IndianNavy's submarine fleet! 3 different SSK with small fleet sizes 10 (7 active), 4 & 6 from 3 diff countries with 3 diff AShMs & 3 diff primary torpedoes. Luckily #Scorpene's was blacklisted so 2 different torpedoes. Add variants of #Indian nuclear submarines to this mix.

Maybe the #Russians could have built more frigates and a new destroyer instead of upgrading Nakhimov and Kuznetsov.

Not buying #F35B was a bad call for a ski-jump equipped class of LHDs designed to host #STOVL carriers for the #Australian navy. Hope they change this. Also #AUKUS! Dont trust #UK to have strategic sanity over a decades long program. #US made #Virginiaclass are great boats.

How can I forget the #German #F126, a 9,000 tonne "frigate" with 16 Mk 41 VLS cells (although they can be quad packed to carry 64 ESSM) & 2 SeaRAM. But to be honest, you have an #ArleighBurkeclass sized hull with a meager 8 (+32 ESSM) or 16 TLAMs (no ESSM) & non-VLS 8 NSM AShMs.

Well #Pakistan is already covered.
