I think this is insanely important for people with ADHD to read about. I’d never heard of this until today and it explains so much of what I’ve dealt with for years and why I avoid doing or speaking up about anything even if I really need to.

Existing is so hard and trying to imagine a future is so hard when I feel like it’s absolutely impossible because of how hard I take things. Anxiety on top of it just makes it even worse. )-)o

But this, knowing there’s a way to make it better. That gives me so much hope.

I can barely get myself to go out and hang with friends or even accept letting them come to me because I’m so absolutely terrified of making a fool of myself or just being garbage to them even if I know that NEVER happens. I know my friends like me but I’m so scared.

I can’t even ask my own mom for help because I’m terrified she’ll get mad at me for not being able to function like a “regular” person. Even though she’s expressed support and has helped me when I’ve needed it on so many occasions.

I’m just... absolutely crippled by it. Haha.

Anyway I hope this enlightens some people and I’m gonna try and get some help with this tbh because gosh am I glad to know something can be done. I’m so exhausted with living this way. There’s always hope.
