During delivery (melahirkan), this infection can be passed to the newborn. This can lead to a potentially deadly infection to your baby called neonatal herpes. It can cause a premature birth too. So avoid getting the herpes during pregnancy.

Sewaktu nak melahirkan, your doctor should carefully examine you for herpes sores if you ada symptoms or any complaint about it. If you have herpes symptoms at delivery, a ‘C-section’ or cesarean is usually performed rather than routine vaginal delivery.
