💥 getDerivedStateFromError is a new lifecycle method that is invoked after an error has been thrown by a descendant component. With that, you directly update a component’s state based on the error. Learn more in the open docs PR.

🎉 This week, Create React App 2.0 was released bringing a year’s worth of improvements with it. Most notably support for SASS and Babel 7. Special thanks to @timer150 and everyone else involved.

🃏 The React team discovered a couple of repeating patterns while improving test harness of concurrent React. To make it easier for you, test helpers will be made public as an official `jest-react` package.
