A snotty staffer told her it would be $350 just to come out.
My mom was like “Yeah, I don’t think so. Tell the owner to call me.”

15 mins later, the staffer called to apologize. LOL.
My mom is not to be trifled with. She’s polite as can be. Try to take advantage of her though, she’ll come atcha. You don’t want to do that.

p.s. while I’m talking about my mom’s badassery, once when she was a single mother, a mechanic tried to charge her $400 for NOT fixing her car.
Said he wouldn’t return her car unless she paid even though he hadn’t fixed it.
