Here's the latest status report in the family separation class action (the Ms. L case): assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5031… The gov't says it has discharged 54 kids since the last report on 10/25 (screenshot on the left). That's a mix of reunifications with parents and going to a sponsor
There are still 25 kids in US care who were separated from a parent and potentially eligible for reunification. There are also 26 kids deemed ineligible for reunification b/c parent deemed unfit or a danger, and 99 kids with a parent not in the US and intent is unknown
You may recall that in the last report, the govt said it had just identified 14 more kids in custody who were separated from a parent (see: buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…). In today's report, they now say it was actually 13, because it turns out one kid *was* included in prev. numbers
