Remember how prosecutors accused Paul Manafort of breaching his plea deal? His lawyers are due to file a response today about that — recall that at a Dec. 11 hearing, Manafort's lawyers said they needed more time to decide if they agreed or not with the govt's claims re: lying

Paul Manafort's submission was due today re: the govt's claims that he lied and breached his plea deal. It's midnight — nothing is on the docket. This could mean: 1) They filed under seal 2) They missed the deadline 3) Something else happened under seal. His team isn't commenting

It's nearly 10am and we still don't have any indication on the docket about why Paul Manafort's submission re: allegations that he lied and violated his plea deal didn't come in yesterday, when it was due

NEW: Paul Manafort's lawyers filed his submission due yesterday re: the allegations of a plea deal breach under seal, per spokesman Jason Maloni — "Mr. Manafort's counsel filed their opposition yesterday under seal."

There's still nothing on the docket re: the response that Manafort's spox says was filed under seal. Under court rules, parties normally need permission from the judge to file under seal. So presumably at some point we'll at least see that request and an order from the judge

Recall that parts of the special counsel's filing re: what they say Manafort lied about after signing a plea deal were redacted (see: buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…), so it's not totally surprising that Manafort would seek to file under seal. We could see a redacted version later
