1) OK. Here is my experience at the Hyatt Place Perimeter Center in Atlanta. Feel free to tell me if I’m being unreasonable.
2) was supposed to arrive Tuesday. Donna was ill and needed to see doctor. Called to say my arrival would be delayed by one day. They said fine.
3) arrived Wednesday and checked in. No problem. One of the bedside lamps started sparking and smoking in the middle night — but that’s another issue.
4) when I checked out they charged me for Tuesday night — the night we missed because of Donna’s illness.
5) I explained that when I called I was not told I would be paying for that night anyway. They said “well that’s our policy”.
6) In not walking away from this mess. I think they’re wrong and I want a credit for that night I was not there.
7) Now —- tell me that Hyatt was right and I’m wrong. @Hyatt.
