👉Avg speed of goods train in India is 25 km/hr n express train 55 km/hr
👉Very less addition of line capacity after independence

👉As passenger movement increased over the yrs more trains were introduced. Lines r currently 110-150% overloaded
👉This has slowed both passenger n goods train movement
👉DFC between Delhi to JNPT Mumbai n Ludhiana to Kolkotta port will have dedicated double line BG for goods

👉This will free the existing overburden lines of goods train, resulting in avg express train speed increasing from 55 to 100KM/hr n goods train speed from 25 to 75 km/hr
👉This will change the transport sector forever. The upcoming DMIC(Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) is

aligned with DFC
👉Not only industry will benefit but farmers n tourism sector also. Persishable goods can now be transported over log distance with speed.
👉India doesn't have unemployment problem but underpayment is a cause of worry, hope with increased opportunities due to DFC
