He is the most loathsome and unprincipled.

The worst part is that as long as he is allowed to continue playing out his farce from an office he was not legitimately elected to, his awfulness reflects back on all of us.

Our hope and work must be to ensure that @realDonaldTrump is extracted and punished and that he becomes a historical anomaly in this nation.

A cautionary tale.
A horror story.

If not then we fail ourselves and all future generations.

I rarely make reference to religion here beyond noting the extreme hypocrisy permeating the evangelical Christian movement's support of @realDonaldTrump.

But next month @UMChurch will make a decision with far reaching implications and I feel compelled to comment.

In January 2017 the General Conference of the United Methodist Church appointed a 32 member body called the 'Commission on a Way Forward' to examine the church's official policies regarding the $LGBTQ community.

The Commission studied the issue for a year.

In March of 2018 they issued their findings. Their report was made public and handed over last year to the Council of Bishops for examination who spent weeks examining and considering its content.

Absent Clinton, I fully intend to keep my heart and mind open to the entire Democratic field, with a few exceptions.

And if you have followed me for any time at all, then who some of those exceptions are will probably be obvious.

So it looks like Michael Avenatti has been busted for busting some woman’s face. The Los Angeles Police Department, not a Trump stronghold, arrested him on Wednesday on charges of felony domestic violence.
According to TMZ, a publication a consistently more reliable and trustworthy source of honest news than are CNN or other Media outlets, Avenatti is alleged to have left his alleged victim with a “swollen and bruised” face punctuated by “red marks” on both her cheeks.
