Distinguished Prof, I like @KadariaAhmed and respect what she does but if she did to GMB what she did to @atiku Atiku and even @YeleSowore , do you think anyone will think she is biased? Those questions were no doubt from the diabolic cauldron of Hell Rufai (her brother-in-law).
There is a difference between playing the Devil’s Advocate and being a Medium. She made herself a vessel for the draconian belligerence of the ventriloquist who couldn’t quite confront Atiku. But what they meant for Evil was turned around by the Almighty. #Tawakkul
I believe my Distinguished Prof @farooqkperogi is yet to get the memo. Now you can see why she was purring at GMB/Osinbajo and roaring with fangs at Atiku and Obi and others against the aberration they benefit from. #ProFamily #ConflictOfInterest #DearthOfProfessionalism

I can’t believe @JussieSmollett wrote this. Emotions must be managed even when we strongly disagree. We MUST do unto others what we want done unto us. In my country our ruler is unabashedly bigoted religiously/ethnically but we can’t call him names but present a superior argument
Every public figure in the socio-political space is someone else’s freedom fighter. You can’t fight populism with hate, just as you can’t fight darkness with your shadow but by simply shining your own light. Everything we make of what we see is a reflection of our inner self.
To end the culture of hate we must in our action & speech lead by example. Raise your awareness, stand for something & let the whole world see your light. Gifted people who have disciplined themselves enough to perfect their gift must never operate in hate lest they attract Same.

We must address election violence no doubt and speak sense to hearts & minds out there. But this would only make sense if it genuinely comes from a sincere heart not the adulteration of another person’s research or the replication of someone else’s work. #EndElectionViolence
So this morning I will focus on original works of reputable leaders not those who purchase their academic titles and sojourns on earth to die a copy. Plagiarism is a crime in sane climes but people in high places in ours steal intellectual property with pride. 😞
Since I’m a gentleman let me explore and commend the works of our women. Just yesterday HE @ToyinSaraki gave a speech on “Stop Election Violence- Women & Youth Votes are Key to Building Healthier & Safer NIGERIA.

Political illiteracy is easily identified when people say PDP/APC don’t deserve our votes. It is a common rhetoric of folks fooled into railroading PDP out of power & stampeding GMB to power. The shame of admitting their blunder birthed the rhetoric. There’s no ideology. ⛱
Virtually any politician can sleep as PDP and wake up APC. In same climes where there is clear cut ideology you are born into a side & the tenets of your political leaning guide your life decisions. We are not yet there in Nigeria. We only have opportunists & their rag dolls.
The acronyms are not the problem but evil souls seeking to lure you into wasting your efforts. Sentiments and emotions don’t win elections. Focus on your candidate of choice, vote and follow through by ensuring your votes count. This is not a game. No one should decide for you.

Today is the Jayanti of Punjab Kesari, Lala Lajpat Rai, one of the great freedom fighters, part of the Lal-Bal-Pal trio, founder of DAV, an inspiration to many other revolutionaries,a man who stood up for Hindu causes. A true Lion of Punjab.
Lala Lajpat Rai, was born to an Urdu teacher, Lala Radha Kishan and Gulab Devi , in a tiny village called Dhudika, in the Ferozepur district of Punjab, on the 28th of January, 1865. Into a family that valued, freedom and self-respect, values he imbibed growing up.
Growing up amidst poverty, Lajpat Rai, nevertheless managed to complete his education, studying law at Govt. College, Lahore. The stint at Lahore’s Govt College, was what shaped his value system too.

The likes of Peter Obi are important to the polity - they come in from outside and by sincerity of heart and oneness of purpose, they show others that things don’t have to be complex for them to work.

But not all professionals in politics are like that, Raji Fashola for example.
Fashola as Lagos State Governor used to make everything look complex so much that it became a governance style unique to him and now elevated to the national level by his party:

First disrupt everything so that people can appreciate you when you complete the project.
Under Fashola in Lagos, they could be fixing the third street from yours but they would park the heavy vehicles and block access to your own street (with a board announcing an apology) but all just to let you know that his Govt was working.

Yaba had a full year of disruption.

1] APC Supporters Are Attacking Atiku over his planned intention to 'sell' NNPC, but let me educate their ignorance again.
2] Atiku want to Privatize NNPC, a policy that is justified because of the mismanagement and level of looting experienced in the Oil Industry in the last 30 months.

3] Some of the attack includes Atiku supervising the Sale of NITEL (which is not factually accurate).
4] NITEL, Nigeria as at 2009, has 4,647 employees.

5] The Privatization of the Communication sector (Telecommunication specifically) introduced over 1.12Million Jobs, over 6 Million indirect jobs and Billions of Dollar from tax revenue into the Treasury.

Wishing a Happy 85th birthday to the Metro Man E.Sreedharan, the man behind two of the greatest engineering projects in modern India- Konkan Railway and Delhi Metro, pulled off under the most challenging circumstances.
While Sreedharan is widely acclaimed for the Delhi Metro, for me the Konkan Railway was a far bigger achievement. One of the most challenging project, considering the terrain involved, to me wud be Sreedharan's greatest achievement.

And to think that Sreedharan was actually bought out of retirement for Konkan Railway, his tenure had come to an end in June 1990. It was the then Railway Minister George Fernandes who appointed him as CMD of Konkan Railways, and the rest as they say is history.
