#Atiku Want Sell #NNPC If Elected in 2019. Matters Arising. - Chidi Cali

1] APC Supporters Are Attacking Atiku over his planned intention to 'sell' NNPC, but let me educate their ignorance again.

2] Atiku want to Privatize NNPC, a policy that is justified because of the mismanagement and level of looting experienced in the Oil Industry in the last 30 months.

3] Some of the attack includes Atiku supervising the Sale of NITEL (which is not factually accurate).

4] NITEL, Nigeria as at 2009, has 4,647 employees.

5] The Privatization of the Communication sector (Telecommunication specifically) introduced over 1.12Million Jobs, over 6 Million indirect jobs and Billions of Dollar from tax revenue into the Treasury.

6] Another example is NEPA (PHCN) that had 47,913 workers as at the time GEJ partially Privatized it. They were paid generous Terminal benefits, especially those that have proper documentations.

7] The Private companies have about 88,043 employees not minding that their operations have not fully started and slowed down because of the...economic policies of Buhari. The multiplier effect of their activities (including indirect jobs) should be over 4 times the above figure.

8] We lost 15.4Million net jobs, over 391 Nigerians committed suicide as a result of hunger and hardship in 30 months of Buhari and no supporter of Buhari or Buhari himself has the moral justification to Preach to us about Economies.

9] Buhari has sold over 3 National assets including Ajaokuta Steel and no one can name their buyers till this day.

Attacking Atiku's properly conceived policy is foolhardy and exhibition of ignorance and poor understanding of workings of basic economies.
Nigeria was dragged back by Buhari and his incompetence

crashed the biggest economy in Africa and the 3rd Fastest growing economy in the world (2013 and 2014) in just 10 months in office.
