Alright, let's try some more. We start with a planet. The planet is not a car, but all the materials we're going to need to build a car are already present
And although nobody could have built a car 200 years ago, or 200,000 years ago. But all the stuff you needed to build a car was already there. Just not in the right order.
What I mean is, you take all the raw materials that go to build a car, and you start turning them into one.
So at one end you've got was is most definitely not a car, and at the other end you've got a car.
And my question is, when did the car arrive?

I honestly don't understand humans. You bitch about something for years and then just accept it for a quiet life.
You need to break out of your middle class comfort zone. That gutless acceptance of crap just because you can't be bothered.
That is exactly the attitude that you lost the referendum in the first place.
I keep telling you, and I've been on this planet long enough, you will never get anywhere with humans unless you sound like you mean it.

You've built your whole understanding out of cliché, and it is entirely wrong.
Well, let me explain why it's all codswallop. What your clichés add up to is the idea of deliberate delay.
The reason for delay is, or so is believed, to blackmail parliament into accepting at the last minute what they otherwise would not.
Actually, your clichés don't even fuckin add up. Kicking the can just means delay, putting off. Whereas getting things over the line is a struggle to achieve the necessary end, to exclusion of all else.

It says you have to allow 25 working days for a general election, so presumably that's Monday to Friday.
Which means five weeks. And that brings us to March 28th. The day before Brexit.
So if there's going to be a general election before Brexit they'll have to call it today
I think we can be fairly sure that they won't call a general election today. So that at least clears the air a bit. There re now two things that can't happen in time.

There will be no referendum before Brexit, and now there will be no general election either.

We speak, for the sake of brevity, of "the climate movement."

But there is not one climate movement, but several different movements of people who want climate action, and the tensions between them are rising as younger people get more engaged.

2. We can see this best, right now, in the U.S. where there is, first, the old mainline environmental movement, which has done the bulk of climate advocacy work for decades.

Largely, this advocacy work has focused on cap-n-trade/CO2 tax policies and support for clean energy.
3. Mainline enviro groups have tended to treat climate as an environmental issue, indeed, often as one that must be weighed against others (we see this for instance in opposition to windfarms out of concerns for potential bird kills).
