"Could" is a super-mischievous word, people. Stop making up facts and couching it as analysis. It doesn't help anything. And you almost always turn out to be wrong.

Just to be clear, I have zero problem with what @BarbMcQuade said in the underlying clip; she was responsible and careful. The problem is with this piece circulating about it and particularly its headline.
If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a trolly car.

@mikiebarb @nytmike there's an important nuance about your first scenario that you skate over in your podcast this morning: because of OLC's extant opinions on the subject, Mueller will almost certainly not--as you guys say--"recommend charges" against POTUS.
The question is how he will handle a situation in which he (a) finds criminal conduct but for one discretionary reason or another decides it should not be charged irrespective of POTUS's status or (b) finds criminal conduct he would charge but for POTUS's status.
The other wrinkle, particularly in the obstruction arena, is the situation in which he finds conduct that would be unambiguously criminal in any person OTHER than POTUS but which Article II arguably authorizes.

Here's another example how programmed leftists are. I tweeted how places have stopped showing The Vagina Monologues because they say not all women have vaginas. So instead of trying to prove me wrong, that that's not happening, that it's fake news, he simply attacks the source.
This is how the media controls them, if their lying media doesn't tell them, then it must not be true. They have complete control over their minds. All he has to do is Google it and he'd see it's true, but he's too lazy and programmed. He saw the name Rush Limbaugh and reacted
I mean this really is a sickness with them. It would have taken him 2 seconds to Google and he wouldn't look like the idiot that he looks like now. Hopefully this will teach him a lesson, but I doubt it. He'll go right back to being an idiot

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.

1/ I teach journalism at University of New Hampshire, and one of the things we discuss is how—while many newsworthy stories are bounded in time, audience, relevance, and the expertise needed to cover them—others are far more expansive and require a different kind of journalism.
2/ Earlier this week, I gave a lecture at The Pratt Institute titled "The Trump-Russia Affair As Generational Event." It framed the Affair as a historical episode rather than a bounded news story—more analagous to the Great Depression than a single federal criminal investigation.
