It will be fascinating to see what the DOJ is accused of doing to Schock that led them to basically drop the case. Changed venue from downstate to Chicago, then at least one prosecutor removed from the case.
Don’t miss my point: This appears to be prosecutorial overreach against a rising GOP star with suspicions of DOJ misconduct related to the case. Why a plea now before trial? Lots of Qs
