B- gotten from contact with blood, semen, vaginal secretion.
C- Gotten through the same as B
D- needs B to multiply
E- from contaminated water.

Hepatitis is more infectious than HIV.

B and C will most likely lead to liver cancer.

The best way that you can prevent Hepatitis B and A is by vaccination.

You'll get 3 doses
1st Shot - At any given time

2nd Shot - At least one month (or 28 days) after the 1st

3rd Shot - At least 4 months (16 weeks) after the 1st shot (or at least 2 months after the 2ndshot)

You do not need to restart the hepatitis B vaccine if you miss any of the shots. For example, if you start the vaccine and stop, then get the 2nd shot when you can and make sure to get the 3rd shot at least two months later.

For Hepatitis A, 2 doses, 6 months apart

*Please note that Hepatitis C is gotten from infected blood, sharing needles, tattoos and can also be transmitted sexually but the risk is low

The best way to prevent Hepatitis B is to prevent sharing sharps, toothbrushes, avoid multiple sexual partners, always use a condom

This vaccine can be gotten at registered hospitals, teaching hospitals, primary health care centres around you.
