Why does Julian Assange look like someone starved Santa Claus?
I know I said this as a half-joke but seriously. Why does it look like Julian Assange has had worse treatment in the Ecuadorian Embassy than the way he would have been treated in a normal prison?
I don't know enough about Julian Assange to have a valid opinion but can someone correct me on the principle that if he exposed criminal actions committed by US armed forces, he should not be jailed for doing so?

And then once she got you to vote for Brexit, @KateHoeyMP then says that the Norway Model is unacceptable.
I want to swear. Loudly.
The Remain camp said we would end up losing access to the EU Single Market. The Leave Camp said we'd keep that access to the Single Market. But now the Leave camp is saying we voted to lose it. So they're not just lying, they're admitting they were wrong!

I wanna share my thoughts about believing women who claim they've been sexually assaulted. I normally tend to listen in on these convos and never comment publicly, but I feel my thoughts will be helpful to folks. Namely, black men, especially, need to do better on this subject.
I'll start off by saying that I have learned so much by listening to women share their stories of assault and had no idea how abusive men are. That ignorance shows how being a man can inoculate us from the harm women face everyday. That, in itself, is troubling.
As a man, I really have not had to consider dangers to my body in remotely the same way a woman has to on a daily basis. I also admit that, for a long time, I was pretty ignorant of the workplace and casual abuse women deal with. #MeToo has been an education.

1) Just read @AnnieDuke Thinking in Bets. Loved this book and the podcast with @ritholtz on Masters-in-business. Here are some of my key takeaways and quotes.
2) How sure are you of a belief you hold if asked, “Wanna bet $1000 your belief is correct?” Are you still 100% sure or maybe only 70%? This helps to ensure you’re not blindly defending your belief and instead inviting skepticism and a search for the best information.
3) “Thinking in bets starts with recognising that there are exactly two things that determine how our lives turn out: the quality of our decisions and luck. Learning to recognise the difference between the two is what thinking in bets is all about.”
