April 2018 (during my mom’s funeral): Gunmen kidnapped the white foreman building the Anam-Nzam-Kogi-Abuja road killing two mobile policemen. The security forces refused to enter the forest where they kept him and left the rescue to our local vigilante
December 2018: Gunmen kidnapped two Catholic priests at the Umueze Anam bridgehead.

December 2018: Fulani herdsmen hacked a farmer and his wife. Village kills 3. The herdsmen brought their cattle to seek shelter in my Estate and were protected.
April 2019: Fulani herdsmen killed 6 and terrorized entire village with AK-47. Villagers flee.

All incidents occurred at locations between 1-5 miles from my Estate
Nigeria is very unsafe.
Let’s not play the Ostrich or talk about risk parameters as if it were some textbook concept.
(BTW- Coscharis farms rice at Anaku, a kindred community of Anam. He’s lucky. Cows don’t eat rice
