We're talking about removing books such as Little Red Riding Hood and Sleeping Beauty from a library over concerns about sexism.

Is there a surer sign of tyranny than book burning?

Remember in Fahrenheit 451 where the fireman's wife was addicted to interactive television and they sent fireman crews out to burn books?

We're at the point where we don't even need the fireman.

Even here in the West, we're doing it ourselves, albeit without the violence.

Literary death panels in Barcelona have reviewed hundreds of children books by examining the female characters, taking note of the roles they serve and how often they speak.

30% of books were found to have failed to meet their standards & were deemed to be of no pedagogical value. Thus began the purge.

That's the thing about tyrants. They claim to interpret the truth for us. They infantilize us. They don't give us the choice to make up our own minds
