I want to talk about the situation involving @AtelierHeidi, @ProJared, and @HollyConrad. Honestly, there are things that I’ve wanted to air out for quite sometime but didn’t because Heidi asked me not to. But let’s be quite clear: What Heidi is saying is true.

Jared, Holly, If y’all feel the need to block me, frankly idgaf, you can’t hide from what you did, and it’s disgusting to me that you think vague statements/hiding behind your friends are going to make this go away. It won’t. I know that Heidi has proof. So do you.

To be clear, I’m adding my voice to this not just because Heidi is a friend, but I watched a lot of this unfold throughout last year. Heidi and Jared were kind enough to invite me into their hotel room last Katsucon when I didn’t have other accommodations.

I walked in on more than one occasion to Heidi in tears and Jared saying nothing. I tried not to pry too much other than making sure everything was okay. I didn’t think it was my place to intrude further. I was told it was issues with friends. I remember it definitely felt off.

Fast forward to July, and I went out to Seattle to visit. Truly, I had a great time with both Heidi and Jared. But more of that same pattern would emerge while I was out there. And at the time, I remember thinking how strange it was. But again, I didn’t want to intrude.

One more time skip to just before PAX Unplugged 2018. I check in with Heidi, and after some awkward conversation about going to PAX, she fills me in on what’s been happening. Y’all, I was ready to have FUCKING WORDS. I was shocked and appalled.

But I want to put this out there: I didn’t. Why? Because Heidi made me swear that I wouldn’t do anything. Because she wanted to save her marriage and work things through with Jared. Despite what had happened. And yes, I have the “receipts” from that convo still.

So for the past 6-7 months, I’ve sat, watching my friend suffer while her husband cheated on her and constantly moved the proverbial goalposts in regards to any reconciliation. I’ve watched her joy and passion for the things she’s loved drain away because of what’s happened.

But, it’s all out in the open now. So here’s my piece adding in to the numerous truths coming out now. Y’all, I’ve been cheated on, the people that do these types of things are often selfish and self-absorbed. They don’t care about anyone else or the cost. This is the case here.

That’s what I’ve got to say. If y’all don’t want to see me retweeting Heidi, or @jessiepridemore, or anyone else coming forward with things, unfollow me now, because I believe and support my friend. And I won’t stay quiet or feel the need to not “intrude” any longer.

Adding a PS to this: Both Jared and Holly have been very kind to me when I’ve interacted with them face to face. But that does not excuse shitty behavior, and it sure as hell doesn’t excuse what they’ve done to Heidi in the process.
