NDP Leader @AndreaHorwath: Can Ford explain to the woman driving a school bus in Etobicoke for $30,000/yr why she has to forego increases that keep up with the cost of living. While Ford's campaign insider Ian Todd gets a 25% pay hike making $350,000/yr working for the Ford govt?
Horwath: Todd just one example. When it comes to Ford's friends and Conservative connections a seat on the Ford gravy train with six-figure salaries and hefty pay packages are par for the course.
Horwath: Ford tells a working woman who spends her day travelling to provide home care the $32,000/yr she earns is too much. Ford asks that personal support worker to tighten her belt, while handing former PC Party Pez Reuben Devlin a $375,000/yr consulting gig. #onpoli
NDP MPP @TarasNatyshak to Ford: Are you shutting Queen’s Park for 5 months so you can campaign for Andrew Scheer, or is Scheer is begging you to hide under a rock til the election is over? #onpoli #cdnpoli

(Ford refuses to answer)
Natyshak to Ford: Have you set a record for the number of dumpster fires lit in a single session? #onpoli
NDP MPP @shaw_sandy: Concerning that this govt will rip up contracts and ignore the basics of how we govern ourselves— all for beer sales.
The Cdn US Bar Association wrote the Attorney General yesterday and said this will "undermine the rule of law." #onpoli
Shaw: Our international reputation as a place to do business is going down in tatters. This plan is so reckless it’s now an international affair.
Why is the Attorney General Caroline Mulroney willing to put Ontario down in the history books as ignoring the rule of law? #onpoli
NDP Education critic @maritstiles: The G+M reports 124 courses cancelled next year at York District School Board, and another 35 course sections cut. Is the Minister finally willing to accept her cuts are ripping away opportunities from our kids?
theglobeandmail.com/canada/toronto…
Stiles: This morning I joined students, concerned parents and education workers in my riding for a school ‘walk-in’ against this govt's cuts – one of 260 schools holding rallies in the GTA this morning. #onpoli #onted
Stiles: These students are saying no to a plan that will leave them stacked in classroom with fewer course options and fewer pathways to post-secondary.
They are saying no to a plan that takes away their teachers and replaces them with untested, mandatory online-only classes.
NDP MPP @solmamakwa Neskantaga First Nation has been under a Boil Water Advisory since Feb. 1, 1995. That’s 24 years. There are 13 First Nation communities with boil water advisories in my riding as of today. 1/2 #onpoli #FNpoli
Mamakwa: @GregRickford said my Twitter statement was “an unfortunate comment.” It’s these kinds of comments that are unfortunate.
Will Ford direct @GregRickford to apologize for his comment to the people of Kiiwetinoong who don’t have safe drinking water? 2/2 #onpoli #FNpoli
Mamakwa: We live in one of the wealthiest regions in the world and yet 13 communities in my riding cannot drink the water. Access to clean drinking water is a human right. Currently my PMB on #UNDRIP is before the committee, being stalled from third reading by this govt.
NDP MPP @PercyHatfield: They held a funeral in Windsor for 17-yr-old Josh Chouinard. He died from a drug overdose.
In Peterborough: 13 overdoses in 72 hours. There’s an opioid crisis from one end of the province to the other. WHEN will this govt declare an opioid crisis?
Hatfield: Everyone knows we have an opioid crisis on our hands. How many more overdoses, how many more lives lost – lives like young Josh – before this government does the right thing and finally tackles this opioid crisis head on? #onpoli
NDP MPP @GurratanSingh: Ontarians already pay the highest auto insurance premiums in Canada despite being among the safest, why is the Ford govt approving insurance rate increases (some approvals for increases as high as 11.4%) that will make life more unaffordable for millions?
Singh: This Ford Conservative govt has the power fix our auto insurance problems. Instead, this govt has approved massive increases to auto insurance rates. In the first four months of 2019 alone, the government approved increases as high as 11.4%. #onpoli

Confused by how Ford's words don't line up with his actions?

It shouldn't be up to Ontarians to read between the lines. You deserve a transparent government whose words turn to action.

Until then, the Doug Ford Language school is here to help.
Ford-ism: I'll give it everything I've got.

English: I'll find someone to blame instead of take action.
Ford-ism: I'll be on landlords evicting tenants like an 800lb gorilla.

English: I'll make it easier for landlords to evict tenants while also refusing to provide rent relief.

A timeline of Merrilee Fullerton, Doug Ford’s Minister of Long-Term Care, downplaying how many seniors are getting sick and dying in long-term care, playing a callous numbers game to avoid having to spend money to hire staff and implement infection control measures. 1/6
On Sept. 22, there were 58 resident cases:
“Ninety-nine per cent of our long-term-care homes have no resident cases.” - Merrilee Fullerton 2/6

Today, the courts ruled against Doug Ford’s cut to OHIP coverage for Ontarians when they’re travelling.
This makes SEVEN court battles lost by Doug Ford and his PC govt, wasting precious public dollars defending his cutting agenda. #onpoli

There’s a lot to unpack here, first of all, the ‘free market’ would not have the business opportunity to operate COVID-19 tests at a high price if the gov’t was on top of testing – but they’re leaving people behind.
Everyday Ontarians are waiting hours in line to get their COVID-19 test. While the gov’t has been saying for months that “they’re hammering away at testing” but experts disagree: ontariondp.ca/news/fact-chec…
If testing was as easy and accessible as it should be with a public health system, there would not be a market for $400 testing kits for those that can afford it. Demand the gov’t invest in testing now: ontariondp.ca/demand-covid-1…
