This is becoming the first sign that the studio expects the movie to flop.
The first Terminator was a nightmare come to life. The liquid one blew my mind. Maybe in an age where CGI is ubiquitous and boring now there's no space for a Terminator movie anymore.
Whose idea was it to cast this guy as the terrifying killing machine? He looks like he's here to fix your printer.
Or to excuse why it failed.

I guess part of me just assumed the director of Deadpool wasn't Wokey McWokester.

Another highlight of the divide between older and younger minority generations. It was the one closest to the civil rights movement that wasn't outraged Biden worked with segregationists.
Dems wield the race card like a weapon cynically and liberally so I feel no sympathy when it's turned against one of their own.

Every advocate will tell you how tiring advocacy can be - the never-ending fights to pass legislation, to stop legislation, to uplift the voices of others, to listen to those who are doing the hard work, to show up and contribute, to support each other.
Advocacy is hard but necessary. Advocacy is generally thankless and the results of advocacy efforts will always be slow and sometimes never come to fruition. Yet advocates keep fighting. It's in their very essence to fight to make things better for everyone.

o.k. shortish non-technical tweet thread this morning on capital Vs operational financial expenditure, because I only just learned a new way to think about it yesterday and it blew my mind. Maybe it's obvious to more, but it wasn't to me!
Since we first launched, one of AWS's biggest benefits has been that customers can trade many big capital expenses; building data centers, buying software licenses, and so on for operational expense. In general, AWS is pay for what you use, with monthly bill.
For a long time I've thought this is pretty simple. It's painful and wasteful to keep big chunks of money around and makes CFOs unhappy. Capital costs can be financed too, like buying a car, but there's an interest rate to pay and so the net-present-value cost is higher. Simple!

I can’t stop thinking about The mad genius Steve Ditko, one of the greatest we’ve ever had. And a huge inspiration to me. The 1st comic book I bought was a Jack Kirby one, as I’ve recounted before. The 2nd was a Ditko one!
t was one of those fat 25-cent reprint books Marvel put out in 1970, Marvel Tales #28. Had one of those goofy Marie Severin covers, where the limbs didn’t quite make sense.
But inside was Ditko! Here's the splash page, from pencil to finish! I haven't seen too many Ditko pencils.
