I'm sorry but it does really infuriate me to see wave after wave of politicians & journalists—many of whom would be glad to pontificate at the drop of a hat about the wonders of Parliamentary Democracy—pretending they don't understand even the rudiments of how it's meant to work
In a parliamentary system there is no such thing as "an unelected PM" because the PM is never elected. That would make it a presidential system. The PM's mandate comes from having the confidence of a majority of MPs & that is as true of Johnson as it was of May. You all know this
