when you've been nothing but noncompliant for nearly two years, the judge has to make you call in to see if you've been a good boy at your deposition 
if he hasn’t completed the discovery obligations outlined in a hearing last month, elliot “eli mosley” kline may face stiff sanctions
he finally deigned to call into one of the scheduled hearings last month (under threat of arrest by US marshals if he didn’t), but he’s not been very cooperative.
kline hasn’t been cooperative, but i doubt it’s because he’s trying to protect anyone but himself. faced with sanctions & possible arrest, i imagine he’s turned over some information his former friends should be anxious about.
kline only called into the july 2nd hearing because he saw in the news that the judge was fully prepared to send US marshals to drag him into court if he didn't.
as of july 23rd, kline was in violation of the judge's orders following the july 2nd hearing. i wonder if he bothered showing up to his deposition yesterday?

kline did call into today’s status hearing & did show up to his deposition yesterday. at that deposition, he signed several documents related to discovery requests (fully two weeks late), but did not turn over any electronic devices.
kline told judge hoppe he was unable to tender his cell phone for discovery yesterday because he needed the GPS to get home. he’s been ordered to fully comply with discovery by next wednesday.
he has until next friday to respond to interrogatories filed a year and a half ago. dragging your feet won’t make a federal lawsuit go away.
