Many may feel overwhelmed, or at a loss for words, over the borage of fronts on which our fundamental rights are being attacked — and years or decades of progress seemingly being undone all at once.
2/ These are battles that were hard fought and won, many long ago — and all of the sudden it seems, they're being attacked or reversed.
But this confluence of red/purple states turning back the clock on all of these issues aren't simply "culture wars" or "red meat" for the base.
3/ They're more than "culture wars." There's a single umbrella under which all of this falls.
It's a movement. A reactionary effort to undo all of the great movements that have come before. All at once.
When history looks back, it might view this period as The Great Regression.

#FACTCHECK: Republicans SUPPORTED the Biden-led effort to root out corruption in Ukraine, by seeking the removal of a corrupt Prosecutor General, Shokin.
Shokin was NOT prosecuting corruption. He was accepting and extorting the corrupt for bribes.

He was told he had to reassure Trump on the call that he was willing to work with Giuliani to investigate Burisma/the Bidens, and the 2016 conspiracy theory.

Litigating every subpoena thru the courts is a delay tactic.
